Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Daria Crisu. I studied at Maastricht University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts and Culture and my Master in Arts and Heritage: Management, Policy and Education.

 

Through my company we ar art I provide creativity workshops, guided tours in art museums, educational programs, learning activities and research, writing and analysis of artworks or cultural topics.

 

Our creativity workshops take place in museums or on location. Through this workshop I show people that everyone is naturally creative and that creativity resides in us. In time our creative level fades away for different reasons. The good news is that it is not too late, our creativity can be regained at any time. 

 

During my work in the cultural world, I have gained experience in planning and organizing activities, programs, exhibitions and cultural projects. I have conducted tours, planned various activities and developed and put into practice a cultural exchange project trough which museums act as spaces for cultural exchange.

 

This cultural exchange project takes place between museums and schools and has various activities developed with the intention of promoting museums collections abroad. This project examines the possibility for museums to make their exhibitions available internationally and to disseminate its target audience.

 

I believe that a balanced cultural participation should be inclusive and take into account the diversity and differences that individuals share. In this rapidly developed world, multiculturalism has become an unmistakable aspect of life.

 

Individuals are in search for identity and I believe that an active participation in diverse cultural activities that allows the participant to learn about culture, through culture and with culture can give them a sense of inclusion and a better understanding of society.

 

Cultural activities should be available to everybody, regardless of their cultural background, educational level and economic opportunities. I find it important to participate and have a grip within the cultural environment, to connect cultural initiatives and befits, to influence the development of the cultural infrastructure and to be able to bring different interests together.
